The Medilink System provides electronic healthcard network services to insurance and other companies and third party administrators to facilitate the administration of medical claims and healthcare data management to Healthcare Payers and Healthcare Administrators using its bespoke Claims Application System.
It provides members with electronic swipe cards which, on presentation, allow the healthcare providers to electronically assess whether the member is eligible for insurance cover relevant to their condition. The card is used in the same manner as a credit or debit card and links via leased line or the internet to Medilink's back-end office database which contains all members' insurance policy data. It facilitates easier medical claims submission and paperless environment.
